Mommy & Daddy is starting our new IVF cycle 2 soon. Day one is on 12th August and so, Day 21 will be the first of September. Teachers' Day.

Mommy had put too much hope tying each and every details to the future. The future that is so uncertain. With the '12%' and 'the anniversary date', now everything sounds so pathetic.

E, darling, thank you for the letter. Mommy had forgotten how I promised to be strong. Mommy had forgotten that you are still here. Mommy had forgotten my promise to you to take care of Daddy. Mommy never knew that I am beginning to betray you by not living for the current time. When you left us, a deep hollow set in Mommy's life.

Dear Mommy,

I am sorry that I have to go. Believe me, it is for the best for both of us. Why do I have to go? Well, I just want to.

Thank you Mommy for giving me this opportunity to embark on this journey. I want to go to as many places as I can, I want to see the places that you've been to. I want to experience your winter, I want to smell the flowers that you once planted in your balcony, I want to be in the Holy City, to be in that acute area we call Jannah. I want to see the world that you've seen. Night dives, nudibrachs and dip in the hot springs too. I want to do all these and many many more.

Tell Daddy I am sorry that I have to go. It is his calm spirit that I have in me that always let me think of the best possibilities to take and to keep cool always. If I follow you in these aspects, Mommy, I'll go crazy. Crazy, but as charmingly-crazy as you have always been.

I left you with the sweet memories that we had together. 2 weeks seems short to others, but during those very days, each and every moment, every heartbeat, we were one, Mommy. Cherish our times we spent with Daddy. Promise me that you'll be there for him, always. Cry Mommy, cry as I know those are tears of love for me. I am still here for both of you. No one is taking me away.

I forgive you if you find happiness after I am not around. Be happy Mommy because I love to see you being happy. Remember to keep Daddy happy too. Never make him sad. He has always made us happy. In a pram, a toddler trying to put on his socks on his right foot. Cute. After a few failed attempts he called out to his mom. "Mommy help to put on for you. Mommy help to put on for you." Hehehe ..

They were facing the same way as I was, so I could only see his calf down. Cute foot. Cuter with the socks on.

Time to get off. Checked on the toddler. He is a she.

Wednesday on hospitalization leave. Morning Dr Jerry Chan will pick out the eggs.

Long injection needless will be used. Bleeding & infection might occur but low percentage.

After Emak gave me the Qurban meat, I was waiting for the arrival of the new oven to make this dish. Knew it! Superbly sweet meat. SWEET.

... and after debating to myself that I can do manual kneading, at last I succumbed to the idea. Ler... easy rupa nyer...

FB. Sometimes I hate it, sometimes I crave for the updates which I check for the 100th time for the day. None mine, that is. Hahaha...

As I read the PDA [public display of affection] of a certain someone, my head can't stop spinning. Why must it be another gift bought or received? Aren't there anything else that one can share with the other half? Anything that doesn't cost.

As days passed, I still cannot get it why living in Singapore must be so materialistic and expensive. Yes, I know... it has already been almost to a year that we are back here, but I can't yet adjust to my new monthly finances.

No, we are not in deep need of money, it's just that paying something EVERYTIME winces my heart. I bought my small tray for RMB10 [S$2] and they are selling it like S$5 the other time I saw it here. Paid RMB2 [S$0.40] for 2 big scallions and over here 3 skinny ones cost S$1.30!!! Woah.

Every single transaction I made, I cried inside. It's just hard to part with money. I love my hard-earned money.

Like Mr Krabb says, "Me love me money!". So do I. :o)

Thank you Allah, for the new oven. Once my cooking & baking kicks in, I'll post recipes and pictures of food again. Till then, allow me to see another Friday tomorrow. Ameen.

[The Incomplete Saturday Morning Breakfast]

I loooove the crispiness & crunchiness of these vadai, and chewing the lentil-taste dough is just so superb! Yummz.

A friend asked where this picture was taken, commenting that it was a classy place.

I am blessed with the wonderful things given to me. Growing up to the different cookings, the extra 'wealth' to buy the camera that took this picture, an under-nourished home, which to others is classy. Thank you Allah.

So OK, here are the steps..

Steps:
1. DO NOT follow insructions on packet.
2. mix vadai flour with water. soak it about 30 min, better to leave it overnight.
3. 1 measure of mix to half measure of water
4. add curry leaves, finely cut.
5. add julienned shallots if you need the extra sweetness.
6. heat oil in a deep pan.
7. take a spoon, dip it in oil. [because my dear, the batter is too sticky]
8. scoop a spoonful of mixture, slowly drop into oil
9. QUICKLY place 2 prawns on batter, press down. [i use a chopstick for this process]
10. cook till brown, turn over.

These vadai gives a crunchy feeling, unlike those you find in the shops. Even without curry leaves or shallots added to the batter, they did taste good.

I ckp, no problem aper sbb prezen dia I dah kasi dia 2 days ago. So, into the study he went and viola! bila keluar.. dapat la I prezen nih.

Buat masa skrang, I masih lagi installing softwares. Most of it dah ade, tapi bila nak post hapdet, mcm malas gitu nak copy gamba dr lappy lama ker lappy baru. Nak pakai lappy lame.. mcm tak glamer gitu kan... so, nsib baik la arini mood bagus; terasa nak complete the installations & hapdet blog. Coincidental u pun ade shout kat i.. :D

Ini prezen I kat dia. Simple ajer. I made a getah and a pen holder into a bookmark that holds a pen. Bende ala tu beli time kat Tokyo [mane dpt bende2 gini kat sini oi..]. He always complains I selalu kemas then simpan his highlighter/pen that he put in the book he was reading.

The so simple. The getah is actually a hairband beli kat H&M Wuxi bila sale last month. Murah jer. I jahit la the pen holder to it. Prezen mcm cheapskate kan... Tpi itu besides the point la.. yg important each and every jahitan itu penuh dgn kasih sayang. cewaah!

Yg hijau backgrd tu actually Winter jacket. Plan keluarkan dr wardrobe and lepas tu nak turun bawah hantar dryclean tpi belum pegi2 lgi! hehehe..

Went to the infamous Ueno Park for cherry blossom viewing.

It was forecast that this weekend, the sakuras will be fully bloomed. But due to the cold spell that Tokyo is experiencing now, I can see that they are only half bloomed.

I guess I have to return there next weekend. :)

* we reached Ueno Park about 9 in the morning. When I alight the train, there were hundreds of people briskly walking towards the park. Once at the entrance, they went to the different destinations, for example the zoo, the museum, the lake .... I can already see people in the reserving lots in their sleeping bags. I guess, they have been there since Friday. [this task is given to the newer employee of the company]

**There this group of office employees way in the center of the park. Obviously drunk [this early in the morning??!!]. hehehe... everyone in the group was in suits except for this one guy. He was singing I guess telling funny jokes because people around were laughing hysterically. A tv/news crew nearby heard the commotion and interviewed the group. This guy then took a prebought bunch of flowers and pretended to woo the female employee.

I love this experience.

Actually, Big Guy is doing his personal stuff for the first 2 weeks we are here. So, on most days I guess I'll wonder the streets of Tokyo alone.

I sort of regret not bringing a better jacket. Only brought the sporty waterproof one as the weather was forecasted to be raining here for the next 2 weeks. [Jeles sey tengok dorang pakai lawa-lawa!... so feminine...]

A Letter to ZZ-Chan

Dear ZZ,

We are here safely in Tokyo, Alhamdulillah. It’s 8:45 am now [7:45am in Suzhou] and Big Guy is preparing for work.

I know I promised you to come over yesterday, but time didn’t agree well with me that time. I had packed my luggage on Monday with the many thin Spring colourful clothes and when I checked the weather forecast on Tuesday, I was shocked to know that it will rain on the most days we’ll be here. More surprisingly, the temperature will be cold with a few nights to be as cold as 4 DegC. Why oh why…?! It shouldn’t be like this. It SHOULD BE SPRING, cool and sunny. Eeiiik…

So, I had to repacked. Opening all the nicely winter clothes bags which were nicely packed and stored away. Then… I have to reorganized my home. Eeiiik…

Anyway, last night we went to a Fugu dinner. Fugu, better known as blowfish to the Japanese or pufferfish to others, is a delicacy food here. The deep fried meat is to die for, superbly hao-chi-licous!!!! The whole course cost us about 13,000 yen / 900 rmb / S$200 . hehehe… Okaaaay… I guess we’ll be on instant noodles for the next few days. Hahahaha….

on a cold windy Spring Day...
nampak jer sunny... tpi sejok dia, ish.. jgn tanya!!

[ebike adalah perkataan pendek utk electrical bike. Ia menggunakan kuasa electrik dari bateri yg mesti di charge sebelum di gunakan. Charging makan masa dlm 4 jam hingga 8 jam, bergantung kuasa dan saiz bateri.

Klau Big Guy nyer, selalunya dia charge sebelah malam tpi i nyer... hehe... selalu lupa.. so, ade la ekskius tak boleh gih supermarket!

Tpi kan, kalau nak round2 jln-jln... tak lupa nyer... hehehe... ]

What is e-bike or more well known here in Suzhou as dian-pin-che / dian-dong-che ?

It is a small electrical driven bike more well known to the westerners as mopad.

There are a few types here, ranging from the exact look-alike mopads [like a bicycle] to the medium-sized scooter-look-alike to the big, huge, fast ebikes.

I'll write more in the future once I've managed to take pictures of the different kinds, but for now, here are the pictures of Big Guy's ebike.. His is the higher range ebike that goes very VERY fast.

Mine? erm.... the small dusty one that goes bzzzzz bzzzzz. Super damn slow...

I looked far into Central Park about half a kilometer away from my front balcony.
I can see the different shades of lush green and a hint of pink flowers blooming.
I kept on observing the moving vehicle along the road behind it. One by one it passed by.
Everything seemed to be doing its own thing, and yet the landscape seems so familiar.

I heard the melancholy music playing on the speakers. It was singing a slow Tagalog song as that's the only station I can received from my cable radio. The air was cool, about 12 DegC.

Somehow all these hit me a chord.
So familiar... where have I experienced it before?

I closed my eyes and listened to the buzzing of cars down below.
aaah... all seemed to come back to me now.

I miss my Punggol home.

I wonder has the field of trees behind block 600plus been chopped down? I read on Ponggol's neighbourhood site about some construction of a fresh water dam going on. Oh no! There goes our Saturday biking trail along Sungei Serangoon. Those trees, those lovely green trees...

As we were having our rendezvous yesterday, we saw families flying their kites in the other park. I felt sad looking at the colourful kites.

I missed the time we flew our bought-in-Mersing kite in front of the vacant field opposite Ponggol Plaza. I wonder if that vacant land is still bare...

I miss my Punggol home.

Orange Cranberry Muffin

- 3/4 C orange juice
- 3 Tbs vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 C brown sugar, unpacked
- 1 Tbs sugar [optional]

then I added them to this mixture..
- 2 C flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbs baking powder
- 2 Tbs orange zest
- 1 cup dried cranberries [to be added just before the

AKU KAYA!! [I'm rich]

A friend of mine planned to make kaya/coconut jam together last Thursday. Because I had the vertigo last week, I canceled it.

Since weekend is nearing now, the temptation for kaya on a toast was way too overwhelming to ignore. [Having this thought ever since the original plan of making kaya...]

I used..
2 boxes of Kara coconut milk [200ml+200ml=400ml]
10 medium-size organic eggs
400 g white sugar
1 tsp pandan paste

I did..
- mix eggs in a bowl, no whisking needed just mix.
- in a pot, mix coconut milk and sugar. stir.
- put on a med fire. stir.
- once the sugar are all dissolve, lower fire. stir.
- pour a THIN steady stream of eggs into mixture till finished. stir
- [stir la sampai kau mabok]
- from here on, consistent stirring is needed.

Useful Tips:
#1 original recipe states 1-hour of consistent stirring but 50 mins is sufficient because mine was real pretty and glistering at the 50th min and I continued for another 10 minutes then... it gets lumpy. :( [but it 'melted down' a bit once cooled]

#2 using a whisk is much much better than a wooden spoon/spatula. in the start, i used a wooden spoon and the mixture was lumpy but after I changed to the whisk, aisey... smooth as silk!

#3 use the medium stove. a very small fire does not do the kaya well as it takes too long. i used the medium-low fire and switched it on and off often.

Saturday: Set.. kaya on toasted buns, kopi-tiam style!!!

still rain nowadays.. too lazy to go out to buy bread, instead made buns.

too lazy too to knead & wait, so i used breadmaker instead. hahaha.... kes tipu, malas & pandai!!

I used..
1/2 cup warm water
2 Tbs butter
1 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
2 cups breadflour
2 tsp yeast

> a little tweak from the original recipe
> and of course just throw them into the breadmaker
> making sure liquids first
> then the flour
> and lastly the yeast making sure it didn't touch any moist ingredients
> set to 'dough' mode! [sonang baitu...!]

> after 2 hours with the completion of the breadmaker finishing doing it's 'job',
> take the dough out
> cut into 2 parts [a trick in getting equal size buns]
> and then make 14 small equal balls.
> place them in the baking tray.

Vertigo terjadi pabila eardrum [apa nama melayu dia, eh?] tak dpt mengimbang dgn sendiri nya, lalu akan mengambil sesuatu reference utk menegak. Disbbkan ini, eardrum akan memberi signal ke otak utk mengimbangkan diri[badan] seseorg. oleh kerana mata melihat apa yg BUKAN di proses oleh otak, lalu terjadila percanggahan ini. It's actually a balance disorder. Vertigo ni se-akan2 mabok laut ler... Mcm naik bot yg berada di lautan yg bergelombang kencang. Maka susahlah nak 'make out' ape yg kita sedang lihat. [eh, betol ker aku tulis melayu nih? hahahaha....]

Ok, anyway... vertigo usually creates nausea and in severe cases experience v omitting just because the brain treats it to be having a seasickness. Difficulty in standing and walking sometimes do occur and again... just because the brain was triggered to be on an unbalanced boat ride.

one must take note how often his/her vertigo occurs and the main reason why it happens. Kalau about 2 months sekali... then that's something that the brain/ear cannot execute... so it's best to check with a physician. tapi kalau tak selalu, harusla figure out ape punca nya. Selalu nya ade udang disebalik mee la tuh... dengar earphone lama sgt kot...

Just a simple flu virus infection can create vertigo... or even dehydration!

Oya... semlm di perjalanan pulang dr clinic, I ternampak pollen terbang2... Oleh kerana dah nak masuk Spring nih kan, I pun teringat fasal pollen allergies. Tak lama lagi siap la pollen start terbang2 diudara. That time la pon kena waspada. Breathe in too much pollen accidentally can cause cold/ flu and walking in the path of the flying pollen, our eyes can get swollen too due to some infection.

To friends that is experiencing Spring soon, jagala diri baik2... From winter to spring, the weather changes can make one fall sick. And during Spring when the flowers start to bloom, itula jam pollen start terbang2...

[Hari Ini Aku Sakit] Today I'm Sick

Selasa pagi at 1am, I terjaga dari tidur. Like always, habit to check the time by taking the wrist watch placed on the bedside table and have a look. Then mcm selalu, since it is cold, I made myself wake up to go to the toilet. I rasa kan.. after thinking about it for so long.. this is the fault. I forced myself up too quickly. I knew at that point of time I salah, sbb at that point in time kepala I dah start kloneng-kloneng. The world started to turn. I eased myself hoping that it will pass soon.

After wards in bed, I said to myself, don't worry... it will pass. After a while, it seemed ok so I opened my eyes. Part nila yg I tak minat.. the world started to turn and turn and turn again. Fast. Took about 10 mins for the turning to slow down. Then I started to do some test. I closed my eyes and lied down, waited for 2 mins then opened my eyes. The turning was slow at first but soon it escalated. Then I know... I was experiencing vertigo. Oh no, not again. Benci sey bila dpt vertigo!

I knew the last time, what i did was to sleep it off. So I told myself, I'll wake up fine & the vertigo will eventually be gone. So i tried to sleep, but it was kind of difficult to doze off.

I woke up at 5:30am. Still the world is revoluting like mad. Eyes closed, it took a while for the turning to slow down. Eyes opened, slow at first then... turn & turn & turn .... eeeii..

hey, but it didn't! I woke up at 9:30am, was shocked because Big Guy was still at home. I guess he took the day off to take care of me. :) Then he asked if I want to see the doctor and I said, ok but I need to gather up my courage to get out of bed in this dizzy spell. I tried my best to breath deeply, trying to wake up sloooowly, but... Big Guy went back to sleep. He was already snoring loudly!!! sheesh...

Woke up at noon hungry. Cooked pasta while the world turning slower now. Clinic closed and will only open at 2:30pm. alamak....

woke up at 6:30pm... clinic closed and the world stops spinning, but I can't focus.

That was yesterday.

This morning we went to see doctor. Same thing la like always... nothing to worry about, just a mere viral to the eardrum.

Onigiri - tuna filled rice cakes

I got hooked eating these onigiris when I was in Tokyo. I ate them for breakfast, on-the-go lunches, supper and for snacks. I did try the other flavours and also from other stores, but nothing beats the salmon-filled ones from 7-eleven.

I enjoy getting a perfect peel every time I unwrapped the wrapper. I find ecstasy in unpeeling the wrapper itself. hehehe...

and the sweet taste and smell of seaweed is just heavenly! hmmm....

Onigiri it actually pressed riceballs with fillings. You can make it into a ball, triangle, flat circle, wrap, unwrapped.. sui nide bian/随你的便 [sukahati kau la.. / up to you]

I found this site that has more details on onigiri & how the peeling of the wrapper is done.

I used..
1.5 cups of enriched long grain rice, cooked the normal way
1 tsp of salt, diluted in a 1/2 bowl of warm water
1 can of tuna, drained
3 Tbs of mayonnaise
6 seaweed pieces/ nori

I did...
1. mix drained tuna with mayo
2. using the rice spatula, fluff rice. divide 6 parts.
3. wet hands with the salted mixture
4. take 1 part of rice & make into a ball
5. make a dent in the middle; making it into a 'bowl'
6. put tuna in rice 'bowl', enclose rice making it into a ball
7. press riceball firmly and shape it into a triangle. make 6 riceballs
8. wrap onigiri with seaweed. the best way is to place onigiri in the middle of seaweed width-wise and then wrap upwards.
9. eat eat eat :)

the seaweed will get soggy fast, so if you are going to pack it, separate seaweed and riceballs with paper/plastics. nothing beats eating dry [garing-garing] seaweed.

Apple Crumble

One of the easiest confectioneries to make. Taught by my Sifu, the lovely ZZ-chan. Xie Xie Sifu!

A dummy can do it and it still turns out good.
Even my china-brand-cannot-be-trusted-to-make-cake oven can still produce good results making this. :)

Best eaten after cooled with vanilla ice cream or cream, slighty whipped. Sedaplicious!

I used..
5 big apples, peeled & cubed
200/250 g sugar
2 sticks of cinnamon [or nutmeg or cloves]
150 g butter [try using Golden Churn, terangkat!]
*cube butter abt nail-size, set aside to soften
200 g flour + a pinch of salt

I did..
1. stew apples with cinnamon sticks & sugar. stir frequently as bottom will stick.
2. stew [abt 20 mins] till soft/personal preferences. I prefer mine to be half soften.
3. remove cinnamon sticks & place apples in a baking pan. set aside to cool.
4. with fingers, mix lightly butter and flour.
5. butter and flour mixture will produce crumbles. just ensure no big clumps.
6. place crumble on apples. DO NOT PRESS.
7. bake in a preheated oven, 30/40 mins @ 150DegC or until top is brown.

Went to Carrefour, hoping to buy next week's groceries there especially my stock of organic veggies. BigGuy requested Mee Siam for this weekend and I thought I'll add a bonus of Kaya Toast for breakfast. I guess I can get that bottle of fermented soya beans [taucho] there and if I'm not that lazy, I'll buy the bread later in the early evening or perhaps early tomorrow morning.

no taucho. *sigh* [nape la ramai sgt rakyat kamu sampai sebotol taucho pun dah takde stok?!]

Still raining... i guess i'll just try this recipe of butter buns and hope it turn out well. cold weather doesn't always agree with yeast and the rising of dough, no...?

niari hujan lagi. asyik hujan jer these 3 weeks. kalau sejuk sikit kan bagus, ade snow! tpi suhu pada tahap 3-8 DegC jer mostly. takde chance langsung la nak main snow this year.

Minggu lepas temperature turun ke -1. ade la snow sikit... tpi kita tak nampak. kalau tinggal kat tingkat atas boleh la jugak nampak... sbb bila snow turun sampai tingkat 7/8 dia dah jadi ayer. so kita yg tinggal kat tingkat 5 nih ingat ujan la... hehehe

BigGuy sms, dia cakap dongak, tngok atas. nnti nampak la. eeeesh, sampai sakit tengkok, keiro mata nak cam snow.

niway, smlm punya smlm hujan lebat betol. tak pernah kat suzhou ni hujan gitu lebat. selalu nya dia 'misty' jer. renyai pun tidak! alaa... yg mcm spray ayer dr botol pancit2 tuh la... halus sehalus nyer sampai kekadang tak perasan hujan....

so, bila hujan lebat2 gitu kita pun teringat bila time kecik2 dulu. sebijik mcm hujan time cuti kat kampung jalan kebun [kelang]. time tu disember holiday. time tu rumah arwah wak glemboh masih rumah panggung dgn tingkap yg guna daun pintu sepasang tu. bila bukak tingkap, the wooden grill [?!] tinggi dia separuh; dari bawah sampai ke perot. alaa... yg mcm railing tu la, tpi ader ukir2 sikit.

why i stopped blogging ... for a while

yeah, i stopped blogging since 2 months back.

many feel that it might be the gloomy weather here. with the dark grey clouds and cold temperature day after day after day, with the laundry that doesn't dry even after days of hanging at the balcony, with the cold nostril and frequent sinusitis, it seems the correct excuse to use. yeah. the end of winter sucks.

nevertheless, that's not it.

i guess i'm just..
mentally tired.

a local friend of mine asked what i would really like to do if i am back in sg for my holiday and i answered that i would drown myself in the books in any of the libraries in sg. her reaction was: kat sini kan ade library jugak![but there's a libraby here too] bodoh betol la dorg ni. as if you got english books in the library here! yar, i know you have english books, duh.. but what kind?! right-winged? left-winged? Pak Komm nyer? sheesh...

so... to make story short, i'm feeling good & ok now. blog-surfed the whole of this afternoon and found this interesting blog. love reading his entries and then... i came across the one on Sara Aziz [3 entries after that]

made me think.

After watching Ponyo On A Cliff By The Sea [panjang nyer title nama crite...] I kinda miss looking at the fishes swimming freely in the water... and don't forget the cuttlefish... and the nudibranchs... and... everything in it.

Eveng though IF WE WERE in Singapore right now, we can't just get our gears and drive up to Tioman for a dive trip, no? Monsoon season la babe!

Aiseyman... malas nyer nak blog lepas balik cuti kat Jepun nih...

Rumah dah berkemas, laundry tinggal yg 'delicate' jer... itu pun malas nak type.

So far here in Suzhou the weather is temperately cold. About 12 DegC most of the time, still no sun. Gray & gloomy. Weekend predicted to have slight showers.

We watched Ponyo On A Cliff By The Sea yesterday. Downloaded the bootleg version via internet added with subtitle supplied by BIL. Even though we enyoyed reminiscing being underwater, we were a bit disappointed la with the storyline. [Ade ke budak lima tahun dah nak kena commit pasal cintan-cintan nih... ish, tak masuk akal la...] The beginning was great but the ending was a bit difficult to swallow. Such a let down!

Oh talking about Ponyo, I feel like writing about the Ghibli Museum visit. hmmp...tomorrow?

Took the Bullet train to Kyoto from Shinagawa; about 2hrs 15mins journey.
First time taking the train :o). Efficient, convenient and clean. oya, super fast too.

Went to Gion, city for Geiko/Geisha and managed to get a glimpse of a Maiko at 2 different occasion. besht!

So i've not been updating since 3 weeks back. Nothing actually, but i guess my own stupidity in clicking the wrong button every time I finished typing a post. Always that save button instead of the publish one... [bodoh nyer aku ;P]

Ok, so we are now in Tokyo, Japan.

Actually our trip supposed to start on the 24th but due to some business project, Big Guy was asked to come to Shinagawa on the 19th, thus flight change for me. Under our personal expenses, it cost a bomb due to the Chinese New Year peak period. [mahal rabak nam mmp*s]

Then lepas tuh... it turned out that they cannot meet the targeted date and we kind of a bit reluctant to make any changes so we just did some adjustments and go ahead with the extended-trip. :o)

One must understand the difficulties in moving around China during the Chinese New Year period. If ANY changes were done, we might end up not going anywhere. Stay in China for that 2 weeks of plant shutdown?!!! blah...

Reached Tokyo's Narita Airport at noon, then straight to the hotel. I have to say that moving around using the JR Rail Pass is economical but, THERE ARE are other ways besides the JR. In fact, if one is familiar with Japan, it is cheap too. Our express-bus ride took only 1 hr 10 mins to our hotel doorstep and cost just a mere 200JPY, and our bullet train ride from Tokyo/Shinagawa to Kyto[Nozomi Line] is not included in the JR Rail Pass. So... one must judge that it's ok to move around Japan not using it.

Itinerary for today is to Akihabara, Big Guy's heaven.

ntah ntah ade org puji chantek... so nnti mood kita kembali 'up' sikit...

Sausage Croissant Chop Chop

utk snek ptg.
simple, cuma thaw dan bake jer. ;P
[nih kes smart & menipu ler...]

Ingredients:
- Chicken Sausages cut lengthwise into 4
[sbb kena go all the way to shanghai kan, jdi... oleh kerana jauh & kudukut la, kita economi skit.]
- prata pieces, cut into quarters

Steps:
1. use 3 sticks of cut sausage & roll from the curve part of the prata towards the pointy part. ensure ketat2
2. bake @ 200 DegC for ~20 mins

Viola, dah siap dah..
